About Sargasso
“Sargasso” has been borne out of the “Sargasso Sea”, a name synonymous, not just in the immediate locality but throughout much of London, with quality and style.
The Sargasso Sea first opened its doors on 13th September 2000 and has successfully operated as a specialised seafood restaurant here in Winchmore Hill, ever since.
Though the restaurant had coped well with the current economic climate, it became clear – following extensive customer research and feedback - that the time was right for a shift in the mission statement; “To provide the best available, quality fish and seafood in comfortable surroundings with an efficient yet warm level of service”
The mission now, “To incorporate the best available quality fish and seafood into an eclectic menu; the selection in both menu sections being equal in quality and quantity, whilst maintaining the same standard of service in a comfortable, relaxed setting”
We have worked hard to create a menu, both in variety and price, which will allow our many regular clients to visit more often and indeed many others to give us a first try.
